Is French produce Red Wine is the best and secondly is Australian Produce Red Wine?is it true?

some ppl told me ,i just wish to ask ur opinion only

It is a matter of opinion. Truly the region the wine comes from is but one of the many factors of determining the quality of the wine. Mostly it has to do with the environment the grapes were grown and harvested it. This is why you hear of people talking about the year and region of a wine.

Both France and Australia makes good wines (I have also had bad wines from both). But you can not compare them in the general sense. Also I do not know what it is you like or dislike in a wine. I could say I prefer the 2005 wines from Washington state (which I do), but no so much as the 2004. The same is true about French wines. Each have good and bad years.

Australia’s red grapes are amongst its greatest assets: after all, who could imagine a world without classic Australian Shiraz?

Australia is blessed with abundant sunshine which enables our grapes to ripen to perfection. Whatever the vagaries of a particular red grape variety, there will be a part of Australia that can give it everything it needs. Even toughies like rustic Malbec or black-as-pitch Petit Verdot turn out a treat.

In general, the warmer the wine region, the more likely it will produce rich, full flavoured styles which many people come to associate with Australian red wine. However, Australia also has cool climatic conditions well suited to red varieties which produce lighter and more delicate red wine styles.

The world’s classic premium red grape varieties are all found in abundance in Australia.

Each country makes very good wines and also some not so good wines. However, for me, I like old world type wines. I would go with the French wines.

hello , lately i developed a taste for red wine and some how i like australian shiraz, but still i don’t know much about wine so what would you guys recommend cheers. :)

I’ve become a recent fan of Yellow Tail Shiraz as well as their Shiraz blend.

It’s cheap but doesn’t taste cheap and is easy on the palate.
